A point away to Barnsley doesn't change the fact that Jewell should go. Before the give him time brigade come on here bleating that he should be given more time I would like to remind them that we have only got 6 points and we have 2 tough games to come. We were poor second half and managed to hold on but lets not carried away. Jewell is still a useless NUMPTY!!!

I can only hope that there was an inury to Hyam because if we was subbed for any other reason than that I will be livid. It sounded like he did a good job of breaking things up and helping to keep Barnsley at bay in the first half.
You're right though JWM, Jewell still has to go.

Can't say any more than the headline of this thread, who would have thought that a success would be a point away to Barnsley. Jewell, please do the decent thing & resign (& if poss, please take Clegg with you)

A win wouldn't have changed anything let alone a draw.

We should have won purely by law of averages!

This result is just not good enough, and worse still with Posh winning. This time next week we'll be bottom, if not on Tuesday. You never know, Jewell might be gone then...

Obviously it doesn't change anything, nor would a win. If we get some form together for the next ten games, then I might be considering my position on Jewell.

Cleggy reminds me of some sort of deranged Harry Enfield character.

What does he do apart from complacently bleat the equivalent of “bloody nice chap” platitudes regardless of what might be going on around him. You could script his “politicians” answers before he gives them, such is the pointlessness of asking him anything.

Nero, fiddles and conflagrations come to mind.

Morning Jonah. <ok>

We never should have let a character from Last Of The Summer Wine become our chairman.

It will be interesting to see how long Chris Hughton has got before he is given the heave-ho! They are far more trigger happy than we are and I just wish for once we had that mentality! I really don't know how much longer we have to suffer with idiot Jewell in charge. He might be a decent bloke but he is paid to get results and over the last 20 months he hasn't made any progress whatsoever. What the **** does ME see in him to give him more time?

If one match changes your mind as to weather to sack or keep a manager may i suggest you are too Flippant..

My view is its time for Jewell to go i gave him a long time to get things going but patience does not last forever, and can Clegg go too.

It has taken you long enough weighty, fair play for standing strong as long as you did, some of us have wanted him gone for almost year now....

All these so called football experts like on the FL Show who tut tut when the subject of sacking a manager so early on comes up! I mean FFS it's not as though he hasn't been given enough time already! 20 Months he has had in which to make progress and we are simply going backwards. It's like having to watch a slow motion train crash. You know its about to happen but there's **** all you can do to prevent it!
