A win here now, is absolutely vital When Robin Hood and his men come to play, If we hope to close in upon the title Before we reach the merry month of May Its importance assumes major proportions As will each game from now until the close, So time for us to start throwing all cautions Away, and leave our state of comatose The greenwood folk themselves are also eager To pick up three points here to aid their cause, Which ought to mean our chances won´t be meagre If by doing so they leave open doors But if they come to defend first and foremost And patiently sit back, prepared to wait, To hit on the break, their hospitable host I can see this too, being a stalemate And returning will be Professor Lansbury Through whom much of their best work has to go, I remember how much he earned our fans´ glee Showing us all the good things he can do But this game has to be about what we do And if we do it as well as we can, Then I am sure Neil A, on his match review Will have but praise for each and every man. OTBC - INIT
On the money as ever RBF, Little John et al would be proud. This is a dangerous fixture but if we are to reach the top flight we need to come through this with flying colours. I fancy we will pull this off and from here launch a successful assault on the auto-spots. By the way did you enjoy the eclipse this morning?
Very dangerous fixture THURNBY, and one that will be very good to win, but we´ll need to be at our best, and not give any stupid goals away, as of late. I would have very much enjoyed seeing the partial eclipse, as I m something of an amateur astronomer myself, but we were shrouded in cloud here at the appropriate time, and have been all day
That is a real shame RBF, maybe you will be luckier next time in 15 or so years. RE: Forest, this is a fixture where we definitely let points slip in the return fixture and need to b on our guard today and take nothing for granted.
Well you were certainly right about the first part THURNBY, sounds like we found our form again, hope you´re right about the second part too - I´m just very pleased to have gotten this one out of the way
Phew, great performance by all accounts and topped off with 3 goals, just what we needed. From here, the away games all look winnable - Leeds, Bolton, Brighton and Rotherham (not that we will win all four I doubt) and the home games include Boro, and of course Fulham. On paper it looks a lot beter and the table has reverted back to a couple of games ago. As I have said before, I am truly loving this season, I know what your reply is to that and let us hope we are both happy come May. I really want to avoid the play-offs at all costs.
I agree, but it's not good for my 'dicky ticker'!!!! Yes, let's hope we can avoid the lottery of the play-offs and top 2 is now looking a lot more likely!!!.
Morning THURNBY - I´m absolutely delighted for Neil, who I think has been a revelation since arriving, and I´m enjoying this year, not loving it, but enjoying it. I don´t want it to continue down here as you know, as I see no real future in it, and I would also be very worried about losing Neil to a PL club, if we did stay. Like you, I´d prefer to avoid the play-offs which really only gives us one option - full speed ahead!
Me too, he has proved to be an excellent appointment and no doubt will be in the reckoning for any PL club looking for a change. Leicester could be such a candidate very soon.
