If we beat Stoke, which I think we should, and even if we lose to Scum and Citeh, Bolton will have to win 3 of their 5 games and Blackburn will have to win 2 of their 3. Anything less would put them on the same points as us but we have a far superior goal difference.

But we have to win that game first. How many bloody games have we said are 'must win' games this season.

2 months ago I had us down and had pretty much accepted it, but now I think we will stay up and deservedly so. We've beaten 3 of the big boys in our 'run in of death' as it was termed, no one gave us a hope in hell, least of all us supporters who had watched such poor performances since November. But we've got it right just in time and I think with survival we will see a much improved position next season. The confidence is there and the comradery that is forming in the team from fighting for survival should carry through to next year and we will start to see that dream that Amit and Tony have coming to fruition.

With our record we are more likely to beat Scum and Citeh and lose to Stoke. But we look good at home now and I reckon 4 points minimum, more likely 6 +. Convinced we will beat the Scum, getting us virtually safe and keeping them out of the CL ( unless they win it... )

Like the positivity. Hope your right but our away form is shocking. 50/50 now having been 30/70 of staying up over the last 8 weeks. I hope we can do it for many obvious reasons but if we go down it wont be the end of the world for me. Ill support QPR what ever. Last season was the best ever supporting QPR apart from the days when we had Wilkins, Sinton and Ferdinand doing the business and any season like last year repeated will live long in the memory. Come on you Rs.

Spurs play Villa, Bolton and Blackburn and need to buck their ideas up, I thought they were piss-poor today. I agree a win over Stoke should be enough but a point next week would be welcome. I hope Stoke are as poor as they were today, they could be a nasty fly in the ointment. Wigan are back in the mix as well which is good news as they play Blackburn in a crunch penultimate fixture...

Villa also fully in the mix now, which means they better pull their finger out against Bolton.

3 points could do it, however that would all change if Bolton beat Villa.
    Things are looking up
We play the scum after they play Barca and before the FA cup final, they should rest a few.
Stoke are bad away from home.
It looks like citeh will have no chance of the title when we play, would they risk Teves, Aguero etc?

Ah, LoneRanger my dear pedigree chum... I think that if you scan through every post on this site in the timescale you have aforementioned ( Or any time you like really.) .....You will discover that I ( along with DT and a couple of others, have never waivered from the belief that we would stay - up. In fact the exact opposite, I have always tried to ' encourage ' this never say die attitude and self-belief among you, which often left me open to ridicule. There are many 'Sheeple ' on here that are indeed very fickle and require life guidance. But I shall say it once more.... '' As long as you have breath in your body, never ever ever ever give up! Whatever life throws at you, no matter how unfair or the circumstances. Never ever lay down and die. ''

I predicted 19th before a ball was kicked this season so I'll gladly take 2 places off!

As stated pre-season, 17th would be a great success.

Tad premature. Bolton winning 3 of the last 5 is certainly possible. All it takes is a win and off they go on a little run. Just look at wigan. The pressure is building though and their congested fixture list must take its toll. Hope that is the case.

Certainly more confident now than this time last week. C'mon u Rrrrrs!!!!

999s, i think me and you were cut off the same cloth. Some on here are very fickle. It's disappointing to see so many posts here are just negative dribble. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE. But this is not a time for us to say we were right and you were wrong. We are all QPR together. We will stay up. This team has balls. In many ways the next 7 days are huge. By the time we play next Sunday we will have a very clear view of what we need to stay up. Bolton will have played away from home twice, and wigan will have played Newcastle. We are not over the line yet, but despite everything that we have endoured this season our head is still above water. Let's all stay positive regardless of Chelsea result. Let's stay calm and not build ourselves into a frenzy this coming week.
