I know that Arsenal side was good but it was extremely over rated because all they won was the PL. This current Utd side will win the league and is in the final of the CL. We also went to the semis of the FA CUP. It can be said that this Utd side is better than that Arsenal side. I don't care how they won the league because at the end of the day they won the league like we will . Records mean nothing to be honest and did we not have a 29 game unbeaten record this season? Also we are still unbeaten in the Champions League. I have come to the conclusion this Utd side is under rated and that Arsenal side is over rated. I have based this opinion by using statistics not subjective opinion. I don't care what style Arsenal used and how tippy tappy their football was because SUBSTANCE ALWAYS BEATS STYLE unless you have both like we did in 99 and 08.
Arsenal fans try and claim that their "invincibles" were the best English side ever despite never winning the Champions League and failing to retain their league title.
Finding a team from London that has been European Champions is like trying to find a Man United fan from Manchester...theres no such thing.
I don't think I have said anything wrong here or have I? Except from not losing a single game in the league what did the Arsenal team do? At the end of the day they won the league but did nothing else in other competitions. This Utd side has already shown it's quality in other comps and Arsenals achievement is just a record. If Utd win the CL and the Pl can someone seriously say that Arsenals 2003/4 season was better than our 2010/11? Even though we won 2 competitions and they won just 1?
Says the Liverpool fan from Dublin...what's the matter, Dublin City not won enough trophies for you to support them? To be fair, if (yes, that's a big if) Utd don't lose to Barca in the EC final, or lose either of our last two PL games, then both teams lost six competitive games in all competitions. Utd lost 4 league, 1 FA Cup and 1 League Cup and in 2003/04 Arsenal lost 3 CL, 1 FA Cup and 2 League Cup. So on that measure there's no difference between the two sides in terms of performance in all competitions.
