    Given the gravity of the situation; no victory, no World Cup; I thought this was an amazing goal, early on, for an 18 year old. But the similarity is, if my lad gets the ball within 25 yards (meters) of goal, he's off to the races. Which, btw, is something new for us as he's always been a fullback. Enjoying the benefits of a growth spurt - we are.

    He doesn't celebrate much. Come to think of it - he doesn't talk much either!

    Just a bit of a cheeky way to post a CONCACAF goal on an English football blog. BTW, Comm, did you see your favorite all-time SAFC player on the assist?
