it goes without fail everytime we play teams like today we f**k up. last season against the 3 promoted clubs we lost 4 out of the 6. today i dont give a toss about the fact we probably hit the woodwork 4 or 5 times the fact is,is the ball has to go between the post and underneath the cross bar. suarez the great player he is has to bluddy learn that every decision is not going to go his way,"so for f**k sake pick yourself up and just get on with it" Reina ffs why do you have to go for a ball when there are two defenders trying to cover it? all you ended up doing was conceiding the bluddy goal and leaving our two defenders on the bluddy floor wondering what the hell has happened. Andy carroll, well if he aint good enough just get rid.i cant understand why £35 mil is on the bench,it is quite clear he cant play with suarez,so one has to go in the january transfer window. The substituations just baffled me today "hello rafa" mark11". We have asperations of finishing in the top 4 this season, well unless things improve rather quickley, well forget it. o next weekend wba away hello woy o ffs we all know whats gonna happen.
Having watch some of the game, you are still lacking in the finishing touch and just cant kill the game off.
its a bluddy joke and its been going on for years now,i sat at home watching it and the only supprise was is that norwich didnt get a second. do you want my ticket for next week lol?
Carroll could be an ok 3rd choice striker so its not necessary to sell him but you do need someone more reliable I think.
**** off you Manc twat. (this is my invitation for you to redeem yourself and make an insensible comment)
Amount of chances we are missing is frustrating and thats 9 points we lost I make it simply because we miss the chances we create. Good as he is Suarez is going to have to improve his finishing because he's the one who has missed most of them. Got a feeling it will get better though, remember Anelka and Ronaldo when they first came? They couldn't hit a barn door either first season and look how many goals they scored later on. On the plus side we are playing some great stuff and creating chances all the time.
You have to remember, although Suarez played as the main striker in Holland, he was brought in as a partner or link up man to Torres. We need a natural finisher like Torres to compliment Suarez - Carroll isn't the man.
I haven't gone and checked but I seem to remember the season before he left Ajax, Suarez was the top scorer in the world - you don't lose that overnight - but I agree he is missing far too many chances.
True but he plays a bit deeper here so he is more involved in the whole build up as well. He's probably knackered by the time he has to shoot.
Ala Torres in the end he is picking up the ball with too much to do instead of picking it up in the right places like with his first chance against Norwich that he dragged wide, I'd rather see him popping up there instead of wide right a lot of the time, he ain't a small lad, he'll get more goals and will a few pens to boot
From a Norwich point of view, we rode our luck at times (especially first half) and were very fortunate to get in and still be within touching distance. Second half though was much more even. Although there were more missed chances from Liverpool, there were also a few missed by Norwich. The second half was a very open end to end game until the last few minutes when Liverpool really pressed on looking for a winner. From the start of the second half the game could easily have gone either way and so a draw was fair. Really though, Liverpool should have been out of sight at half time making the second half irrelavent. Surely some credit has to go to Norwich for the way we defended, the way we stuck to our task and the way we ultimately managed to grind out the draw despite not really playing well by the standards set at Old Trafford and Stamford Bridge.
Your comparison with Torres is correct. The huge difference for me is the attitude. Suarez plays with a smile, ok he does seem to complain a bit - but all justified imo. He got nothing yesterday and was battered all over the place. I don't think it helps when fergie opens his mouth about players, everyone pays too much attention to him, including the refs!!
i think we missed out when demba ba went to newcastle, what a great striker he is andhe could of been good at ours playing with suarez. jordan henderson will be a top top player by the way.
