...... the economy, unemployment, schools, the health service and the shortage of housing are all in desperately worrying state and we are still fighting wars abroad with the whole issue of Syria and Iran be to resolved and then there are the Falklands and the Eurozone problems but hang on..... What is our Prime Minister and several of his Ministers as well Portsmouth's MPs all worrying their little heads about? Yep you got it in one. Saving a corrupt and rather insignificant little football club that should have gone to the wall 18 months ago and which nobody but the residents of Portsea Island give a toss about! If this Government thinks that PFC are worth saving then all I can say is it is about time we had a General Election so that we can get someone to lead the Country who isn't showing signs of losing his marbles!
Bit harsh on Pompey fans but I agree that we are seen to waste billions on nonsense. Partly because we are told to by our much superior European brothers who won't do it themselves. We fight but where are the Jerries and Frogs? Pissing it up laughing at the stupid Brits that's where. Though no ranting and raving by us mere commoners will have any effect, until the next election is due. Then they will court us, before turning about face after getting in.
