Steve Bruce after the 1-0 defeat.

"If you don't score, you don't win football matches and at the moment that's where we're lacking."

No ****ing **** Sherlock! He's clearly lost the plot! Was discussing last night if it does come to the point where he needs to be sacked, do any of you actually believe that Quinn will do it? I have serious, serious doubts about this and wonder if it will come down to Short being the man to send him on his way and wonder what sort of effect this would have on his relationship with Quinn??

One way or the other, lose at the weekend he's a goner surely.

Said it before and I'll say it again, Quinny will not sack Bruce!
It may have to come from Short, hope it happens because things will get really ugly if we have to hound him out, everyone suffers then.
Much better for him to resign and go with a bit of dignity and accept that this isn't the job for him.
Personally I would like Martin O'Niel, I thought that he should have been appointed years ago , I can understand the argument that he's only had success in Scotland but I just think that he'd be the right man for this job.

Whilst I am no loger a BIB, nor am I a BOB - but Bruce needs to sort things out for OUR club (not his club - it's OUR club and Ellis Short's club, we are the ones who pay the money - we don't get paid for travelling 500+ miles on a Tuesday to watch a defensive line up play against a Championship side and we don't get any admission that he got things wrong)

I have loved this club since my first game in 1981 (I was 6) and I will love the club forever - but when my 6 year old son can see what needs to be done (He asked why we didn't play more forwards last night) then something is going seriously wrong

i think it will happen, and we all know it won't. i don't like fans booing as it effects the team, but if nothing happens fans will have to take action into their own hands.

Resign and miss out on a nice big contract pay off, don't think so. He has signed good players now he needs to play them in the correct positions and get them firing.
Think O'shea slotting into full back could make a big difference for us.

I agree and think we do have a good squad but consistently playing players out of position is just premier league suicide. The areas that need strengthening are clear for all to see.

What Bruce has to remember is that he isn't being given a clean slate and is continuing on from the end of last season when performance levels and results were abysmal.

Time is rapidly running out from my point of view and I've grown truly sick of his lame excuses and no actions. Never mind a six pointer, our game against Swansea is now a ten pointer from Mr B's perspective. Lose and I just don't see how he can keep his job with Chelsea around the corner.
