It was a joke and he's got everybody biting. Everybody knows that Labour are responsible for closing more than double the amount of mines than Thatcher.

Folk are way to easily wound up by a few light hearted words by Bojo imo

Yeah, light hearted. I found it funny. It's nice to see my PM just acting normal. It was the sort of joke I'd have expected to hear from one of the lads in the pub so I'm not going to pretend to be offended by it.

So you are happy that one of the Lad's from the pub is running the country?

Secentist also say if Yellowstone goes off with a bang in America which it will sometime there will be nothing to worry about anymore
Great news indeed <laugh>... Seriously though, hopefully they will all wake up soon to the catastrophe that is upon us... We need to reduce airflights, get cars off the road, change our eating habits away from dairy and meat, and introduce local seasonal foods back into our diets.

Flying, coal burning and diesel/petrol.

China and USA actions will decide the fate if the world.

...nothing wrong with vegetables, fruit and salad! Plus of course, bacon sausage and sirloin steaks.

good luck getting China Russia India and the middle east to do like wise even the Germans are doing new gas pipelines from Russia and open cast coal sites rule here, the big beige areas are open cast all power stations coal fired,

So while those countries are polluting we play by the rules, and i cant see them changing voluntarily, Whilst it sounds a good idea we need to put it on the back burner until the others comply , I do agree with the new Hydrogen power stations being talked about, and the boiler hydrogen powered on trail on a Newcastle estate, And we really need to stop the massive European trawlers ripping up our sea beds ban them. Along with the Dutch doing pulse fishing which puts a current in the water and kills all fish and other species that are protected.

So me having an electric car and recycling everything I am allowed to isn't helping?
its a myth its takes massive amounts of energy to produce a car, energy from coal or oil, as it takes too much electricity to melt steel, a lot of the cars interior and exterior are plastic now hard to recycle, car batteries can only recycle 3% the rest goes into landfill, car glass is not currently recycled and goes into land fill, as car glass is bonded in an is labour intensive to remove, same applies to solar panels landfill only, Windpower bearings have a shelf life of around 20years then the whole thing is scrap it also takes massive amounts of power to make them, IF SOME ONE CAME UP WITH REAL ALTERNATIVES I WOULD HAPPILY SUPPORT THEM
