It's always been a bit cliquey on here and that's quite common on message boards. But lately it's gotten even more so. I've noticed that many users are simply ignoring less frequent posters, even when they're making perfectly good arguments and contributions in the threads. I've been one of those ignored a bit lately. To be honest, I don't really mind. I can just go elsewhere but this is a call to all users to be a bit more open minded and involve everyone in conversations. If you don't do this, not many new users will come here because they feel they can't get a word in. The message board will eventually dry up. I can understand that most people would want to converse with users they already know well but you can still do that whilst interacting with lesser knowns. Just a thought!
In all seriousness awjm you have over two thousand posts which is more than me and I have never felt ignored. If that does happen I always think I didn't make a point worth responding to and that happens to me in real life as well as on a forum!!
I know what you mean. I posted this some time ago (post 43) the second time I'd asked the same user the same question, no response! Rather insensitive, what? http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/255557-Have-things-finally-clicked!!!/page2 And Flyer never responds to my witty and incisive comments. Ouch.
We are all equal on here...................... It's just that some are ignored more than others!!!!!!!
Hallo hallo I'm here and I will talk to anyone...I'm easy.. .................................................................................no that came out wrong!
If you make perfectly good arguments and contributions, then your views will be read and acknowledged, but not followed up on. Think about it this way, the less your posts are quoted, the more valid/correct your points are
Things will pick up when the team does - when watching the team is like root canal work, the threads on here tend to mirror it
