I miss the older Stoke that were deadly from corners and throw ins, and didn't try to do anything special, they just defended solid and launched it into the box and got results. Recently you've tried to play nicer football, and it's ****. You can't do it. Not trying to insult you, but your side is full of donkeys that can't play football, but they worked in the older style you played.
Tash - you are 100% correct my friend. Plus the fact that Pulis had at best, Championship players, whose ONLY chance of playing in the Prem was at Stoke City. So they battled their collective hearts out and team spirit was first class, just like the 'Crazy Gang' at Wimbledon. BUT that only gets you so far, in our case, 2 seasons and then the better teams will find a way of negating you. The problem is NOT the footballers - Nzonzi, Adam, Pennant, Wilson, Jerome & Crouch are not donkeys, the manager is. He knows one way and that's it. Defence, two lines of four - typical Italian, and that's the way he loves.
Tash No offence taken you are quite right.. IF Pulis played the right player's HE brought in we would be well safe by now. He doesn't go figure! We're all but down IMO and the same old **** is spouted week in week out by Pulis. The ref? Our Luck? We shot ourselves in the foot.. wish I had a quid for how many times he's said that. I'd like to shoot him in the head. The sooner he goes the better. If you read these boards 18 months back? WE we're saying then.. Pulis can not coach or handle talented player's and we have quite a few now as said above. I agree the rest are overpaid donkey's and Pulis is the Ass.
