and I expect that my travelling companion will 'retire'- as well - for this season. I just wanted to say that I (we) will not be taking our humps to the remaining two away games this season. I personally have missed only two games - one was for an airport run. We have spent a lot of time and money going to all sorts of places to follow the Gills. I am thankful for the pleasant company - and the meeting up of 'old' (new) friends that we have come to know - I will miss THAT as much ( if not more ) as anything about the football matches in question...... but I cannot stomach any more of the rubbish that I saw today. I cannot justify wasting so much time that is involved ( not helped by my additional 100 mile trip just to meet up with the coach - this adds on a lot more time onto the journey and is mentally exhausting after the dross that I have had to endure. I am not a glory hunter - otherwise I wouldn't have spent so much time and money going to see so many Gills games over the many seasons - perhaps it would make it more palatable if the team was more successful - but at the same time I need to take a bit more of a break from the absolute disgrace that I witnessed today - although I still couldn't stay away from home games ( at least THAT is only a half day 'wasted' ) goodnight.
night mate, rest assured I'm not taking any Taylor apologists. That was the biggest pile of Kak I've seen all season.
Is it down to him or the team? What has turned Taylor into a 'dismal' manager from the one that was highly rated some years ago? Does he believe all the hype about him, or are his ideas stuck in the past, and he has refused/been unable to move forward with the times?
