It's just seems to me that we have just a few posters arguing over and over again. Usually argumentative stuff. I won't name names, but I do think it isn't what it used to be on here. It just seems like a few people have ruined what used to be an interesting read. Give it a rest eh? We don't give a flying **** if a few of you have some sort of rivalry. It's just very boring for everyone else that's all.
I’m a relative newbie but you’ve seen I’ve reduced my input because some are quick to condemn what you say with a single easy word and no decent argument or justification. Others read things you put they way they want to depending on mood . It’s worse in an evening maybe too much sauce? Been described as boring because I like to explore topics and invite views maybe I’ll change mine if they do it well. Being the biggest super fan from 1904 is boring I know but I just can’t help it .
I find it quite interesting that some people think their 'opinion' is a 'fact' and word it in such a way. Absolute top level narcissism.
I was at the first game at the Boulevard in 1904 and started the original online messageboard that night, a load of argumentative twats joined so I closed it down.
Good post kempton. I, for one, have significantly reduced my use. Shame because I used to enjoy talking all things City, not any more. Its become a slagging fest I can do without.
It’s really not difficult to try to be nice. And if you can’t do that, don’t post on that thread/reply to that person. People have enough **** going on without further crap flung their way on here too. Healthy debate is good. “My dad is harder than your dad” ain’t.
I think there are times when still get really interesting well argued stuff about a particular player or formation or team selection, but yes definitely sometimes feel you're just intruding on two people's personal swapping of insults. Was particularly bad before the Allams went but seeing some signs it's getting better. I haven't found a better alternative however! No idea whether other Not606 boards are the same.
I don't look at other Not606 boards much but I do know ours is used vastly more than any other so it's bound to have more rubbish on it!
I think there are definitely instances where people let their personal issues with another poster dictate their response to a specific topic. That **** @Chazz Rheinhold is a bastard for it.
