    Newcastle United are lining up Emile Heskey to replace Anfield bound Andy Carroll according to reports.

    Magpies boss Alan Pardew is likely to move quickly to spend a chunk of the proposed £30m the North East club will receive for the sale of Carroll.

    Heskey has fallen down the pecking order at Villa Park and Gerard Houllier could be set to cash in on the former Liverpool man.

    I may end my life.........

    I saw him outside St. James' before. He was aiming for middlesbrough though.

    Hows he fallen out of favour at Villa either? Houllier's a fan of him and he's just shipped out that other big bloke (can't remember his name) as well...
