The one that gets to me is, why dont clubs say how much the player costs. http://www.footballfancast.com/2011...hat-need-to-change/attachment/ballack-referee
Nicknames for definite, really annoys me. Hernandez is one, there are a few others at the moment I have seen though struggling to recall at the moment.
Don't think any reasonable person could argue against any of the points except snoods, they are not dangerous but ****ing hell, would you dare turn up at sunday league wearing one. My old man would have ripped it off my head and disowned me.
Undisclosed fees are useful I'm afraid. it's just good business sense not to let the whole world know what you're spending. I disagree and think that they should be kept.
They may be useful for the few clubs that are run well, but they also allow the poorly run clubs (and by god there are plenty of those) to hide their dodgy deals and we all know what happens when that's allowed to carry on unchecked.
I'm much more in favour of a % local sharehold and open book accounting, otherwise clubs could be exploited or simply sold off as an asset.
This is spot on - I believe it should be any player that goes down rolling around then suddenly hops back up should be made to leave the pitch - they try to get a player booked by feigning injury then once the card comes out they hop up before the trainer comes on so they don't have to leave the field. Leave it up to the ref I say
Bill found this story for you... Arsenal legend Dennis Bergkamp has been appointed assistant manager at Ajax. The Dutchman had been in charge of the club's youth system, but has been promoted to working with the first-team under his former club and international colleague Frank De Boer. Bergkamp has not yet signed a contract but took charge of first-team training on Tuesday and an official announcement is expected within the next few days. "Dennis Bergkamp is the new assistant," said an Ajax spokesperson. "He has not signed a new contract, but has already started in his new job and took training on Tuesday for the first time." The 42-year-old has been at Ajax for the past three years as he attempts to step up his coaching career after a glittering 20 years as a player. And Bergkamp has made no secret of his desire to one day coach at Arsenal, who he served with distinction between 1995 and 2006 Could he one day return to England, as manager of the Arse..?
