Guys we only lost to Palace a few weeks back.

Granted we've picked up a few great results but we are not yet on any run to suggest we could even be in the running.

We are struggling at home, and ultimately unless this can be rectified then we will finish about 5th.

A lot of things would have to go our way.

One bad result and this idea will blow away.

Its not impossible though.

6 points is no gap at all at this stage of the season- however, we need to see a significant improvement in our home form before we can start thinking about a title challenge. We still haven't learned how to break down a strong, resolute defence and that could cost us.
I'll wait for another half dozen or so games before I'll start getting my hopes up.

Premier league fixtures for top 6 on run up to the New Year:

Man City:
Stoke vs Man City
Man City
vs Swansea
Arsenal vs Man City
Man City
vs Sunderland
Leicester vs Man City

Leicester:
Swansea vs Leicester
Leicester
vs Chelsea
Everton vs Leicester
Liverpool vs Leicester
Leicester
vs Man City

Man Utd:
Man Utd
vs West Ham
Bournemouth vs Man Utd
Man Utd
vs Norwich
Stoke vs Man Utd
Man Utd
vs Chelsea

Arsenal:
Arsenal
vs Sunderland
Aston Villa vs Arsenal
Arsenal
vs Man City
Southampton vs Arsenal
Arsenal
vs Bournemouth

Tottenham:
West Brom vs Tottenham
Tottenham
vs Newcastle
Southampton vs Tottenham
Tottenham
vs Norwich
Watford vs Tottenham

Liverpool:

Newcastle vs Liverpool
Liverpool
vs West Brom
Watford vs Liverpool
Liverpool
vs Leicester
Sunderland vs Liverpool

Looking at that, I can only see Leicester dropping a lot of points. Tottenham have very easy fixtures and could be a real threat.

I'd say us and Spurs have the easiest fixtures there. Man Utd's and Arsenal's aren't too bad with only Chelsea and Man City respectively of any note. Man City's is the hardest.

The whole idea is delusional. :bandit:

We have good results away as teams have still not worked out how to counter our pressing and our counter attacks. Our home form has not been great.

Where does this talk about the title come from? Let's talk about the CL places first and when we reach the top 4 then we can talk about it. Unless we can win the title straight from outside the top 4 (bypassing these altogether ) :bandit:

deluders into believers - works for me :D

4 days ago people were pawing over a ****e performance against Swansea won by a very fortuitous penalty, together with calling Sturridge a sick note who should be blown out.

Fast forward to today and the hyperbole from the media is talking about a RS title challenge, ****ing lol.

Klopp's a very good manager but he's not a miracle worker ffs. Until he conquers the issue of how you play against sides who defend deep and don't allow you space i.e. your home form, then you're a top 5/6 side not title challengers

He's getting a Panzer delivered in time for the next home game.
