Evening all! Going away tonight until Sunday afternoon but hoping to get back in time for kick off. Feeling positive about Sunday and hoping for a good result. I's been a rocky week but I think it's clear that the vast majority of fans and players want Nigel to succeed and turn our season around starting with a win against Spurs. If you are lucky enough to be going let's have no negative thinking. We can come through this rocky patch and start climbing the table. Let's all get behind Nigel and the squad! COYR!!
Yes, worth pointing out though that even if we lose we should still remain positive. This one game isn't going to decide our season.
Totally agree. Those people making threads suggesting he's a dead man walking should be ashamed of themselves.
I agree - cut him some slack. This nonsense about that ar$ehole Redknapp returning is as devisive as it is stupid. Some of our number seem to be a bit spoiled by being used to winning most weeks in the last three seasons. We shall prevail !
Hey I've always said I'm 100% behind Nigel my threads have merely been speculating his future as we all have on here.
That is the loyalty of football these days. People complain when players and managers jump ship, but do fans give them any loyalty in hard times. Remember Adkins' record; he is a man of promotions, even when Scunthorpe were relegated he took them back up.
It is quite strange, but I feel confident that we can win against everyone, if we take the good performances and make them last 95 minutes then we have the team and the ability to really shake this league up. Problem is we switch off and conceed 2 goals in 10 minutes far too often. I believe I am like most fans, in when we get a result it is a bonus. I would hate to be a fan of a big club that expects to win every game and get upset when they draw or lose. We have the team to survive this season and there are some worse teams than us.
That is an excellent article. Gomarchingin, please read this and tell us what you think. I'm serious as it would be good to hear what you think about it. I know I've been taking the Mickey of late, but this is good stuff. Let me know what you think.
Spurs have not won in their last five visits to Southampton and have not scored in any of the five games. They have lost the last four 1-0.
