Its heartening to hear that QPR are throwing a protective arm around the shattered shoulders of Rio Ferdinand. It affirms two things 1) that there is still room somewhere in this hard hearted, Tory-led country for compassion and decency, and 2) upholds a long held suspicion of mine that Queens Park Rangers are, by London standards, a good, solid, family club, and 3) that there is still a capacity in the world of football for the the frailty of human existence. Ooops - thats three things ! Like we have seen recently here in BS3 with Wade and the boys, humanity is alive and well and hanging out in small pockets of everyday life
And so is Mike Nesmith. But agree that it is a breath of fresh air. TBH I had generally held QPR in pretty low esteem before now
'Tory-led country for compassion and decency' - Touched a nerve have we Rickster ? 'Queens Park Rangers are, by London standards, a good, solid, family club' Is this the QPR who cheated their way to the Prem ? I can't wait till the FA throw the book at them - £58million fine is the forecast.
The owner of my company is a part owner in QPR so a big fine could result in my bonus, so stop protesting and let them get away with it please
