    Currently decorating my house and it has just suddenly dawned on me that I have never bought a pair of ladders at any point in my adult life yet have regular need for them for various things.

    So come on you lot, what things have you never bought in your adult life and require regularly forcing to you to beg, borrow (and never return), or God forbid, steal ?

    Yeah, a few times, but nowhere near as often as the odds say I should have considering I've been playing since it started. In 22 years of playing nearly every draw, I have had 4 numbers once! I won £35 with 4 numbers that time too <laugh>

    Normally do the opposite - buy a load of DIY stuff that I never use. Half the time I dont even know how to use them. Have two ladders Cronemeister one left by the last painters. Will swap for a tree branch trimmer. Normally have to borrow from next door or better still he comes round and does it for me when I am away in Indonesia.

    I finally bought what I needed and until I used it I didn't know just how good it is.
    Always doing DIY projects and at moment building 2 storey extension. I cannot believe how useful some string is to get things plumb..... Simple pleasures!
