First time in a while i've left a match feeling incredibly pissed off. Not at the races today and can't have any complaints. Millwall are no great shakes and to see theem do the double over us adds insult to injury. Dawson's corners were poor, we couldn't seem to get the ball into the box and our play seemed static. Our only real chance of the play offs now are 6 points in the next two away games, something i can't see us doing in all honesty. Play offs and promotion seem a step too far for us at the moment, hopefully with some tweaking of the squad in the Summer things may begin to look more fluent than this afternoon. If we're still seeing the same thing in October i'll be alarmed as well as pissed off. Just makes it worse TWS won, and i'm off to a party tonight with some of their die hard fans, fml. Let's hope for better for the last 7 games.

Completely agree with you about the playoffs and promotion being too far for us right now. Even if we managed to nick that 6th spot, would we really want to go up and spend a season struggling in the prem? I'd like to see us finish strong this season. Tweak the team a bit, cover at left back, stewart back fit(seems like we're really missing his influence atm), jimmy b back (i think we need him), and that ashbee type player we're desperatley crying out for. Have a decent preseason and then push for automatic promotion next season. Work to be done though!! Won't be easy, and if it's anything like as tight as it has been this season i think we'll struggle again.

bloke behind me blames the referee every single game...
today he shouted, well done ref, your the reason we lost...i couldnt resist turning around and asking if the fact we had no shots on goal, might be a more realistic reason ..<doh>

That might be me you're talking about. Does this guy also take the piss when we're winning and the ref is shockingly bad in our favour? (I do) Just at the end of the game Saturday Guzan was furious about the **** booking him for being studded on the thigh (an inch or so to the right and Mrs Guzan wouldn't be a satisfied lady again) and the ref was shrugging and pointing at the West Stand roof (wtf was that meant to mean, he wasn't waving him away, it was pointing like when a manager is sent to the stands) and I shouted something about it being his fault (didn't hear anyone say anything) referring to the injury Guzan was showing him and the fact he'd let them commit foul after foul after foul without booking them even for persistent fouling (he was giving the freekicks so it wasn't that he didn't think they were fouls) so there was no control over the game. We had similar against Norwich with that lump Holt being allowed to make dodgy tackles all game and then injuring Rosenior.
