We are still 7th, even after losing 3 on the bounce. The team has quality, we just need some confidence. I also think we are in dire need of a striker - badly. While Kieran and Stephane are good, we need someone to link up with poor Gyan. He looked isolated on Saturday, and went wide to find the ball. Campbell and Welbeck can't come back fast enough. Also we need Turner back. While he is hardly the best passer, he does the job. Keeps attackers at bay. Without him, we seem lost..... BUT we are still 7th. We won't be in europe next season. But we do not have the squad for it and would struggle next season. Build on this season. Buy a new striker or 2 in the summer. I welcome this 2 week break. Maybe Campbell and Turner on the bench vs Everton?
I think we all need a break! We just have to be patient about the lads coming back but it will be great to have them available again.
Our aim this season was to finish in the top ten, I cant see that not happening. 7th or higher would be a fantastic achievement, but if we dont get 7th or higher then we shouldnt get too down about it.
last 5 games or so we have a nice run, and with the strikers back i can see us finishing on a strong run
