NORWICH City manager Alan Knill is determined that his side will escape from League Two at the first time of asking following his appointment in the wake of the departure of club legend Bryan Gunn.

Gunn, who made almost 400 appearences for The Canaries as a player had his contract terminated by mutual consent following a two season struggle in League One which culminated in their final day relegation at the hands of playoff-runners up Huddersfield. Chief Executive Neil Doncaster has admitted the Canaries ten point deduction for entering administration was a low point in his career, but has vowed to fight on and return Norwich to a "stable financial postition" adding that "we want to be able to compete to the best of our ability given our limited resources".

Former majority share holder Delia Smith has been forced from the club, having invested an estimated £11m, after dramatic scenes outside Carrow Road in which fans violently clashed with Police.

Stuff of dreams, PC, if only we could turn back the clock! Still, no point complaining now, we'll just have to get on with what we've been dealt :(
