My bride of too many years just made me laugh out loud. There I was reading the forum waiting for some bright spark to come up with something of interest, feet up while she cleaned around me.
Thing is, for a reason I won't go in to...as it's of a personal nature...she came out with a corker...took me completely by surprise. She said and I quote..."you're as thick as ****"
Now that expression tickled me, not only was it not necessary or indeed deserving, but I am inclined to take it as a compliment...what'ya think...men only!
I might not give her a new contract for next year if she pushes her luck mind!
