B----y lazy journalists. I wish they would write nothing instead of bringing Luka's name again into a Manure article. I'm sick of it. http://www.metro.co.uk/sport/footba...ns-manchester-uniteds-80m-transfer-masterplan Surely they saw the statement by Levy or are they just choosing to ignore it for the sake of a few extra lines in a rehashed story.: Rant over.
Yeah saw it on the bbc sport site. Also Hansen Has an article on there saying saf should break the bank to sign him.he did say however it would be difficult.because Levy had given Chelski short shift whan they tried it on
At least he has the guts to come out and say it(this time). The chavs just keep putting it out there.
I actually emailed some twat of a journo at the Mirror after he wrote some load of bollocks about Spurs being willing to sell both Modric and Bale. I politely enquired as to whether he would be printing a prominent retraction after both players begin the new season, still at Spurs. I have not received any reply - and I won't hold my breath for the retraction article, either. Bunch of ****s!
Modric was quoted as saying that he wanted to join Chelsea and he wanted to play champions league football though, so the player has added fuel to the fire. It's not just the journalists who are whipping up transfer talk.
Peski, thats just Paper talk to sell more,he's making a statement to clear the air,so we'll see where we stand then
What I'm saying though is that when one of your players comes out and publicly states that they want a move, then you can't really lay the blame solely at the feet of the journalists. The last thing Fabregas was quoted as saying though was
I think Modric does need to come out with a statement that either retracts his previous quotes, or affirms that he wants a move. Otherwise, the whole summer is going to be taken up with Modric stories.
People often say stuff that makes them look like muppets. You and I do it everyday on this board I can see Modric playing a waiting game (I would). If your guys make some good signings and offer to bump his salary a tad, he may well stay. p.s. my IQ is (was?) higher than yours, but as we both know, IQ only indicates potential and not an accurate measure of intellect.
I lived in America for 4 years, some time ago. Whilst living in New York, I accepted an invitation to take the Mensa exam, which I passed and became a member. The exam itself requires you to think clearly and logically, but within a time frame. Most reasonably intelligent people could eventually answer most of the questions - but doing it within the time frame is another matter. Now I'm much older. I'm not so sure I could pass it again. I attended only one Mensa gathering in N.Y. I met some of the weirdest, and some of the most boring, people on the face of the planet - never went again!
"People who boast about their I.Q. are losers." - Stephen Hawking Don't you think that Sagna knows whether Fabregas wants to move back to Barcelona then, Piskie?
If I were to just say that people that bang on about their IQs are pricks, then that sounds rude. If Stephen Hawking says it, then people may at least mistake it for a speak'n'spell. http://www.speaknspell.co.uk/speaknspell.html
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/13778733.stm There you go Can you please give an example where I have 'made up' a quote in the past please?
