Firstly congrats to Sheffield Wednesday on their deserved promotion. I wouldn't want to be a blades fan in Sheffield this weekend!
So another season ends with relegation and no clear view from the owner on what is in store for WWFC going forward. Top that off with our best players either returning to their parent clubs or likely to be sold in the summer and the future is looking quite gloomy. The icing on the cake is the potential transfer embargo that could leave us with a substandard squad. The cherry on top being the supporters mixed reactions to the manager, bearing in mind his previous failings in the transfer market and seemingly inability to coach a defence.
Some say they would be happy for us to go into administration and even return to non league, however, you have to spare a thought for those local business's that stand to lose a lot of money if we ended up with a creditors voluntary arrangement.
Can we really turn the infrastructure around so we can survive financially without loan notes or further debt.
I've said before that we are geared up as a top league 1 side or even a championship side in terms of back room staffing / systems etc, however, this is the only part of the legendary 5 year plan that Hayes has managed to achieve. This has also supported his beloved Wasps, which again is another area of uncertainty. Will they stay or go?
Then we have the rumours that Hayes may give the club back to the supporters trust, but at what cost?
Will we get our stadium back or will he keep ownership and charge us rent etc - Frank Adams must be turning in his grave and understandably so.
Do we get another owner and become just as beholden to them?
Football clubs mean so much to their local communities and their fan base however, we are the ones that seem to suffer as wealthy people use them as a status symbol or rich mans play thing.
Just some thoughts from a seriously worried blues fan!

What happened to the conference at WWFC? I thought that was this week, or is it next week?

I just want to know what is decided about ownership or whether WDC still have plans for a stadium (without Hayes)

Good post Slasher. But I'm not sparing any thoughts for the local businesses to be honest, I'm not supporting Wycombe for the commercial community, I'm supporting them because I love them. Also not sure I agree with the 'backroom systems' - I've heard that we have a massive backroom staff and this is going to have to change next season when our cash is a lot tighter. Also I think some of the backroom systems were shared with Wasps so whether they stay or go will have larger ramifications than the quality of the pitch or the conflicts of interest that exist.

I think it's going to be a very turbulent time for Wycombe Wanderers over the next few months - possibly the most turbulent we've ever seen - and I'm pretty worried about it to be honest.

The only positives at the moment are the fact we have remained in our home which is a pretty good one as homes go, and believe it or not I'm pleased we've still got a manager (even if it is Waddock).

Hayes has got all the cards and he's still got his poker face on, basically it's down to him what happens - all the chat about Wasps staying or going is irrelevant really - Hayes will decide what he's going to do with us. He's got our trousers down and is about to **** the club up the arse.

I'm glad to see that we have summarised my many lines of moaning to:
"Batty boy Hayes is arse raping our club"

Very succinct and would be amusing if it weren't true!

according to the bucks free the wasps takeover will be done and dusted by the end of may and it looks like the pests are here to stay for a few more years yet.where all this leaves us who knows.if the wanderers trust is handed the club will ivor beekes still be involved and at what level.
