Have I read It correctly........Steve Evans is the new Rotherham Manager.........how on earth can they do that to the supporters of that club .........what's the betting there might be a farewell party for him in Crawley......just to make sure he can't come back.
I checked the date Plym to make sure it wasn't April 1st ..... what have Rotherham done so bad as to deserve that ?
Surely Rotherham cannot afford to pay Evans a higher wage than financially sound Crawley.......has he fallen out with his employer....or was he unhappy having his top scorer leave during the transfer window..... or is there an incentive to get Rotherham into the play-offs.......none of it adds up, to leave a club that he as got on the edge of two consecutive promotion for a club lower in the league. Or is his boss looking at a bigger name to manage the team next season.....none of it makes sense.
The latest I've heard is that the manager left as chief exec oversaw the sale of strikers and there was a big fall out.
Bleddy shame really. Such a nice chap too. I hope Rotherham meet Crawley in the playoff final and guess who I would want to win............
