I reckon from the vibes on the main site, and the local press reports, the manager on the radio tonight the fans are expecting a reaction tomorrow, God help them if another inept performance happens tomorrow. Think it could be the straw that brakes the camels back if they loose.
I think we expect to win every home game, but these days went around 4 years around a go. Tomorrow will there be too much pressure from the crowd? During the week the Germans got slaughtered by Real Madrid, but the fans still kept behind their team..... great support, but unfortunately for us we haven't been great at home for a couple of years, the frustration if we are once again losing against a 'weak' team doesn't turn to encouragement but booing, I know its hard not to keep heart but City are our team, we have to encourage our players to do better than pull them down.
Our team, our players. How many starting will be local? Support your local team, pillars its all bollocks
Total agreement. An inept and passionless performance tomorrow will end my season early. I am sick and tired of watching the dross we have been served with this season. It is crunch time! Massive; we have stuck with four years of dreadful team performances. It is now time for the overpaid Prima Donnas to start earning their salaries and show us that they care about our club as much as we do.
Poor home form for the last 3-4 years or so has turned a once passionate and dare I say fairly blinkered and forgiving home support into what you see today which is a lynch mob waiting to take revenge on anyone in the way. WE ARE NOT TO BLAME FOR SUCCESSIVE AND REPEATED FAILURES COMING FROM THE BOARDROOM AND I WOULD SUGGEST THEY LOOK AT THEMSELVES VERY CLOSELY BEFORE THEY MAKE ANY MORE STUPID STATEMENTS
With regard to booing - whilst it's understandable that people are frustrated it does not really help. Players are human beings and as many of you will know from either playing sport or being at normal work, most people react to positive feedback - negative feedback must be constructive and have a plan of action about what's needed to correct things. Again I fully understand that "players need to know we are unhappy", but doing it by booing does not actually help the situation and what we want to achieve - BRISTOL CITY WINNING FOOTBALL MATCHES So whatever happens today - at the ground stay behind the team - this is the best way to achieve what we want COYR!!!
Cheers to the five pillocks But today it was about courage on a football field, and a sweet strike from a player rewarding his manager's trust
