It is surprising how impatient and negative the majority of Arsenal fans on these forums can be.

So called star players have come and gone for years, and Wenger has replaced them. Indeed he is a man with a rep for unearthing gems.

    Henry, gone
    Viera gone
    Ade gone

    Now perhaps
    Nasri gone
    Fab gone

It doesn't bother me, it just presents an opportunity for the next star player to come through. fans and newspapers do not know what is going on behind the scenes, Wenger has his targets and has the ability to assess the talent he has in house. Perhaps the next Wilshere to come through next?

Dont panic people, we will still be in it next season, whoever he brings in Wenger has them ready to play the Arsenal way, and do you really think Nasri and Fab wont be replaced?

Those of you who want wenger out are either insane or haven't been supporting Arsenal long enough to remember what it was like pre-Wenger. If Arsenal did sack him you can Guarantee there would be a very long queue of clubs waiting to snap him up!

Chill out people, listen to the Dolphins.............

Personally I prefer to listen to the manatee's..

Teams like Manchester United, Barcelona & Milan tend to keep their top stars. Not all of them of course but as a whole these clubs fight to keep their players from ever joining their rivals.

Then there's the Porto's, Ajax's and Olympique Lyon's of this world. Clubs who maintain a regular Champions league place and regularly loose their top players to Europe's elite clubs. They then become dependent on the income gained from selling their emerging players.

We used to be the former but are becoming the latter.

You certainly wouldn't argue with the manatee!!!

I dont think Arsenal are like Porto Ajax or Lyon. Plus you could argue that United have lost some of their top stars, Tevez, Ronaldo!

Barca have allot of Spanish players, which really helps loyalty wise. Unforunately there are so many mercenary foreigners in the Arsenal team its hard to keep them for long. I wouldn't really accuse Clichy or Fab of that though as they have both put in a fair stint, and we were bound to lose fab eventually.

I think Arsenal have a golden generation of youth players in Wilshere, Ramsey, Miyaichi, Bartley, Szczesny (plus some other names) coming through and this core of players will remain with us through thick and thin. Our "spine" if you will.

I agree and you could add people like Frimpong to that who may play this season. I would love to see these players come in to the squad get a chance and do well.

Unfortunately there are allot of so called Arsenal fans who would complain like crazy if this is the way Wenger goes as they want big money signings, and wont be satisfied with anything else. I hope these players prove them wrong.

Well we need big money signings now. The trouble is we promote some players too early and as they don't perform, they're considered failures at 23. We need to blood them a little later.

Dont get me wrong I'm not saying all these young players with potential should be put in to the first team at the same time, but they could all be used in some capacity. I think Ignasio (spelt wrong) is also really good.

IMO we only need a couple of new signings and of course replacements for Fab and Nasri if they go. Its not a big deal we dont need to go signing crazy!

I do, and I wouldn't say he is that slow, Centrebacks are hardly ever really quick, Are you a fan of the potential Samba deal, cos Stephen Hawking could run faster than him!! Granted Samba is better in the air than Hawking!

No, I really don't want Samba. We'll get caught on the counter even more often.

I am tired of staying in the same place for 4 years, I want to move forward. I'm not saying Wenger should go (yet) but I am not prepared to pretend that everything is alright and give Wenger 100% backing.

It is becoming more and more difficult to unearth hidden talented players and Wenger is losing his advantage in this respect.

It is clear that to maintain success he will need to blend some experienced quality players with the best of the Arsenal youth team.

Wenger is not really the man to bring in this experience, he does not relate to established players. Arsenal are at a crossroads.

If Cesc and Nasri go then Wenger may as well resign as he will have no credibility and last seasons embarassments (WBA/Newcastle/Brum et al) will pale into insignificance.
