An interesting article: read it and weep. http://thetwounfortunates.com/turmoil-week-plymouth-argyle-part-one/ Found it on Twitter Sensible, in case you wondered.
Looks like a decent website too, saw it first about a week ago, covering English football minus the Premier League. Hmmm, makes you think.......
Still won't be looking on twitter notdistant but I suspect you may put episode 2 on here for the benefit of the untechnical and interested. So far the scary movie script is nicely poised.
Ah yes, you did find it first Plymborn! Apologies, I did look on your Newsnow site but there are so many posts I gave up!
Look up the "Newsnow " Plymouth site sensible.......pop it on your favourites and check it daily'. Glad you popped it on.............. for all to read notDistant.
Your wish is my command Sensible. http://thetwounfortunates.com/turmoil-week-plymouth-argyle-part-two/
Thank you notdistant. Wow!!!! This is the first time I have seen all of the details in one place and in an order that can be understood. To be honest, although I don't really want to comtemplate it, even relegation this season pales into insignificance when you see how so very close to being nonexistant we were so many times. A truely rivetting read this one and it should be nailed to the gates of Home Park for everyone to read.
The write up is quite good...........but has the author got a pasoti background..........and does that matter.
I don't think it matters plymborn. The content is what counts and it seems to cover pretty much everything without going overboard. I'm not so sure it was PASOTI being claimed as the Argyle saviour but it did play it's part and some of the characters on there did a lot even if they have lost their way somewhat now.
If you ignore all the opinions about who saved what and about the administrator & ex directors, it does indeed give a very clear idea how nearly fatal the situation became. It's rather like an aeroplane coming home with twigs and branches stuck to it: it clearly pulled up very much too close to the ground for comfort. Sooner or later, some poor club is actually going to hit the ground.....
Well we have been predicting that for some while now notdistant and I've seen nothing to change that view either.
