They've proved to me that we can compete against the likes of Chelsea and Man City, if we were playing yesterday's game with 10 men last season, we would've got battered. We're improving all the time this season, Louis Van Gaal will get it right, he needs time.

You said the same about Moyes and then 2 months later was calling for his head...

On another day they did. We could easily have scored a fee ourselves on another day.

Well QPR almost took a point of us this weekend. Does that mean they can compete with the big boys or merely raised their game against them?

I think if LVG had followed fergie (instead of Moyes) having spent 150 million there would be a lot more questioning of what he's done. Where as now it's convenient to still lay the blame at Moyes / the squad he inherited.

Worst start in 28 years having spent over 200 million in a year is not acceptable by any standard and I've seen nothing to suggest LVG is 'getting it right'. You pack the team with world class forwards and you'll be exciting to watch and will inevitable win some games. But you are miles off being a title challenger and probably only a realistic top 4 candidate due to how relatively poor Liverpool, Spurs and Everton have also been compared to previous years.

You've had an easy start and now come up against 2 good sides and have taken only 1 point (from a last minute goal). Not looking good.

The dreaded vote of confidence from Matth.

I wonder how long it will be until LVG will be summoned to Wales to explain himself?

To me they've proved that you're miles behind the big boys. 1 point from 6.

Their next 2 fixtures are home to Chelsea and away at Palace.
Yours are home to Palace and away at Arsenal

About even in terms of difficulty i would say, be interesting to see where you both lay after the next 2 games

Remember all those corners you turned under rafa. Must of got dizzy. No wonder youve collapsed from 2nd.

  20. I remember Rafa winning the CL, FA Cup and finishing second plus a ownership change that cause Rafa problems. Everything else is stricken from memory :)
