The signing of Shinji Kagawa proves there's bargains out there, look at the price we paid for Smalling i think it was for £7 million pounds, the same amount we paid for Chicharito, Schmeichel cost a couple of grand, the manager has done it again, he has bought a potential world class player in Kagawa and hopefully mould him into a top quality attacking midfielder.
If i remember right Smeichel cost £600,000 but even that was a snip at the time. Fergie and his team have a magical knack of finding players at low cost who turn out to be stars and also fit right into our style, he does not always seem to manage this when paying top price for the finished artical (Rooney and Ferdinand being obviouse exceptions).
12 mil rising to a possible 17 mil with add-ons, hopefully it will reach 17 mil because that means he has fulfilled potential and at that price would still be a real bargain by todays standards.
