It would seem that our arrangement with Nancy to permanently sign Diakite should we stay up is in some trouble. Unfortunately it sounds like his agent is the one causing the trouble. The loan arrangement was that he would be ours for £3.2 million if we stayed in the premiership, but he also had to play a minimum of 10 games. Guess how many he played? Yep, you guessed it, 9 games. Nancy are keen to sell him to us and Diakite himself expressed his desire to join us permanently, but of course, then there's his agent. Who has said that yes he can join us, but that there maybe other clubs who wan to sign him too. I did hear some rumblings on here that his virus that stopped him playing in the last few games, may not have been legit. But does this mean he refused to play so that he didn't hit the 10 game mark which would have meant he was obliged to sign permanently. I still think we will get him, but now we might have to get in to a bidding war to keep him even though an agreement is in place. Why do agents always screw things up. Do they have their players best interest at heart, or do they just look for the best deal to boost their commission? Let's hope he does sign because I'm far more excited about him than any other player we could possibly sign. http://www.fulhamchronicle.co.uk/lo...-close-in-on-midfielder-swoop-82029-31037566/
This is a massive conspiacy theory that I just cant buy into mate.. but If it involve an agent then you never know....!!
It's a beautiful day, I will do my best to make sure that this doesn't ruin it. Any news on what's happening with Taiwo? Similar to Samba, thought it was automatic £3.5m purchase should we survive. But have seen nothing on this.
How many games did he miss - through his own fault - by getting sent off? He deserved the red card. It wasn't a Derry/Young situation.
Haven't heard a dicky, but I'm sure we'll hear soon enough. Fingers crossed because I really like the guy. But I'm sure this will happen because the guys passion and love for QPR was clear from the way he was always the last to leave the pitch and always came to the fans to celebrate.
Vendor wants to sell. We want to buy. Surely it's up to the player. Agents can only advise them. Have to say, was a bit odd a 23 year old out for longer than three games with a virus...
Speculation is he has malaria Brix. Drogba does as well, if properly managed this is a bad fever once in a while, possibly years apart. But still not pleasant. Just looked up the rules. Window across England is open now, but transfers can only be formalized on July 1, when window with rest of Europe, and presumably the world, opens. Sure discussions/ negotiations take place before then, but don't expect any announcements for a bit. Explains quietness around Taiwo.
When i went to the sponsors evening diakite was there and was absolutley fine, laughing and joking with all the team and fans. This was before the city game, and he didnt play in that due to 'illness'. This story could have some truth imo as it was odd he was out for so long.
And with Barton on the naugty step for two months Daktari's agent will try to screw a better deal out of us..
Iv'e gotta say this story could have some truth in it. BUT even if the agent is trying to get more money out of us i just hope the club pay it anyway (As long as it isn't too outragous). If we were to get him for the original price of £3.2 mill then it would of been a steal so a bit more on top isnt that bad.
Well if I understand this story correctly, why didn't MH wheel him on for a few minutes at the end of a game at the end of the season to make it 10 games? It could have saved us a lot of cash. Or was it 10 games full 90 minutes? All sounds very strange to me!
Interestingly Diakite is NOT marked as on loan from Nancy on the official website, whereas Taiwo is shown as on loan. Draw your own conclusions from that.....
The only thing wrong with the conspiracy theory is that it really needs the club to be part of it and I'm sure that wouldn't be the case!
