Now we're out of Europe & now the league cup there will be a number of players who possibly won't play now until the FA Cup in January. Be interesting to see how Bruce keeps them happy.
Absolutely - it will be a massive challenge to keep the squad as tight knit as they have been. 4 or 5 players will hardly make a bench appearance let alone play on the pitch until January...
No, we won't just have disgruntled squad players, it will be far worse than that. We will have **** starting line ups for PL games. Bruce is a firm believer in 'everyone gets a go' Alex Bruce to start against Man City.
Excepting the fact that he was superb last night and easily earned himself a starting spot for the weekend.
He needs to be loaned to a Championship club. He is too good for the Premier League and going back to League One will hardly develop his game. He needs to be tested at a higher level. Even if it's Huddersfield.
Ah so that's why Bruceys trying to relegate us so we can play at the highest level in the championship. All makes sense now.
During the FA cup final it was said on here that Arsenal brought on a sub who cost more than our team. He seemed to be happy enough to wait his turn playing. Maybe cos he had more time to count his wages, i don't know. For sure most players would like to play, put themselfs in the shop window, but no matter what they won't struggle to pay their bills if they don't.
We need to think about a couple of loans out, even for 1 month spells. We've simply too many players Maguire to a Championship Club until the end of December is an easy option, but where are the others? Everyone else would presumably not want to step down or are players who have just signed
I think we'll have a job finding anyone willing to take Figgy, he doesn't even look like a professional footballer any more.
Maguire's bound to look rusty after his lack of games, but he really was sloppy for WBA's 2nd and 3rd goals. He wont get any better rotting in our reserves so I think he's an absolute definite to go out in the loan window.
