A proper, proper walk out. United, organised, by the majority.

Not a half-hearted, 20% of the fans, some leaving at one point and the others after.

I mean, stadium emptying - completely - on the 69th minute.

Won't make a lick of difference. Match day revenue or attendance doesn't effect Ashley or SD.

this...the only way to stop this hideous situation is purely not to turn up...I know it wont happen because even if a lot of people do decide not to go, there's plenty of geordies to take their place

The only way to change the situation is to give up. If you just don't care, problem solved.

Mike Ashley has a £250m asset in NUFC, the value of which must be damaged by such a show of public anger.

the problem is, is anyone really going to stop shopping at his stores (except a few of us geordies) because of a few angry fans, probably not

I don't think it's devalued by fan unrest. It is devalued by relegation. The truly perplexing thing is the increased likelihood of relegation and yet a continued inactivity. Either Ashley and Pardew are staring at each other waiting for the other to blink or there is something deeper at stake.

Ashley is a businessman so theoretically the only way to hurt him is in the pocket. He has his eyes on the £60 million Premier League tv money. We go down he loses that next season but has a parachute payment to soften the blow [albeit a smaller pot]. Hurting Sports Direct would be a good idea, but Newcastle fans are a small section of consumers that we alone could not do anything. Damage the brand by association? Possible but unlikely. Ashley isn't going anywhere until he has milked this cash cow. Abusing him makes no odds - he doesn't care and will just not go to games.

Get the supporters and enquiry about having a fans owned club, a bit like FC United but I think more Newcastle fans would follow a fans owned club then Man U as they are plastics.

I think a symbolic show of support such as a walk out in one game might actually make him realise the extent of fan anger and make sure it's in a game shown on TV. Not shopping at his store would be a drop in the ocean even if the whole population of Newcastle stopped shopping there.

You think the 52 thousand peasants of which a minimal amount of would boycott could make any difference at all?

    The answer is no

The entire toon army would have to convince Ashley they would never return to st james park not just some half arsed bluff.

Whats required is not going to happen so just stop going or support the team manager and owner.
