Which is Gordon Taylor defending Rooney's actions, saying that "industrial language" is part of the game. Yes all players swear, and we give them all grief, but he sought out the camera and deliberately swore directly at it. That is not the same, and trying to defend it is rediculous - even Sir Alex hasn't tried to. If Gordon Taylor can't see the difference he clearly should go. He maybe there to support and defend the players, but if he can not see that this is undefendable, his judgement must be questioned.
There is no excuse for Rooney's actions. He should get his ban, & if that means he'll miss the cup semi final, then so be it. Perhaps that'll teach him a lesson, although I somehow doubt it As for Gordon Taylor, or anyone else for that matter trying to defend him, just goes to show what the Rooney's of this world are capable of getting away with.
