Did only watch 2nd half but was amazed by the good performance. We dominated Everton most of the time and were unlucky not getting the 3 points - even though the last 8 mins or so made me a little nervous. We will have to draw at Bolton next week...
The ref made a serious mistake today, not playing the advantage when Taraabt was one on one with the keeper. Just our luck. Honestly, if we manage to stay up this season we deserve medals. How many different things have been against us this season? We've had the worst ride and we're still not bottom!
I think he made this decision because there was also a previous foul which he'd played on from, which still doesn't make it right. But in his mind he blew the whistle for the challenge on SWP because it was the second of two on a QPR player. He didn't wait for a second to see what was to happen after that. He's a tosspot anyway. He runs around with a smile as if everyone is there to see him.
I'm not going to try to guess about some of the calls by Mr Friend (a friend of yours is a a friend of mine but a Friend of theirs isnt... ohh, never mind) but we did seem to get the short end of the stick. Everton goal - what I saw on television it looked like Paddy should have had it - those of you who were there, was it as close as it looked or was it really no chance as the commentator said? And Buz - why oh why - I think even I could have scored from there when I was 8 It was ours to win but for a little twist of fate - let's erase that opening day nonsense next weekend - 6 pointer and we have to win it
Much better today, as much as i would hope for without winning, good performances throughout the team. From where I was sitting not many if any keepers would have got near Drenthes shot.
