There is a little bit of optimism around at the moment as we are on a mini run without a defeat in a while.

Given that Sheff Utd lost at home to Gillingham on Saturday and that Clough Junior doesnt appear to have had a massive and immediate impact since arriving they ought to be there for the taking on Saturday all things being equal.

I'm therefore predicting a 2-0 home win and another place or so towards respectability.

But when are we ever predictable...!?

I've said it many of time but we are usually the team that other teams end their bad runs on. Hope we continue to add to their misery though. 3 wins on the bounce and we can shoot right up the league!

Sheff Utd also aren't great travellers either so all the pointers are there for a home win

I hate it when someone says "There for the taking" usually means we don't turn up on the day and lose!!!!

Well you know me I'm usually very much a glass half empty person, but on this occasion I'm desperately trying to be positive.

I just hope that the boys dont let me down...........again !

I'm quite happy to see that we've largely moved from "****, we can't win for ****!" to "Huzzah! We've been undefeated for a while!".

Draws are always points lost, but I'd be happy to draw if it means that the players are a bit more confident and have more experience behind them in SODs tactics.

80% ball retention but no end product, change the formation now sod .

United are the worst side to arrive at the gate.

The goal was perfectly good, ripped of by the ref still it sucks down the bottom.

This Baldock up front on his own needs changing,it is not going to produce goals at home.
