Seen it a few times and don't see what O'Shea is doing were the ball is played through

he sort of looks at Routledge but seems to just jog in a straight line towards his goal

not sure if he expect Mig to come and get it (doesn't look that way) but very surprised a top defender like him never tried to get over and block the shot

anyone else got any theories on this

No one picked the runner up mate and the 2 centre halves were marking Michu and Graham. You could see O'Shea going mental after the goal at the midfield for letting Routledge just ghost in unchallenged.

Not the central defenders fault imo but I would point fingers at them for Michus header on the 2nd one.

Just how I felt when the ball went in. Neither centre half closed the space down when the Swansea player flicked the ball forward, their second goal was pretty much the same problem when neither of them attacked the ball.

Credit to Swansea for both goals, there movement was very good for both and it was good football. We limited them very few chances. They took both goals well.

The first goal Dyer was given far to much time on the edge of the box and somebody should have closed him down, so instead he had time on the ball to look up and play Routledge in and O'Shea was to static for my liking

O'Shea at fault for me he should have cleaned the ball out or at least made an effort, the other was a good goal nowt we can do about that one, still we live and learn hopefully.

Mingolet should have seen the ball and been out and either took the ball or been in position to block the shot!

The defenders were holding their line.

Certainly for the 2nd goal I felt the Swansea player who crossed the ball had far too much time, he should have been closed down and yes O'Shea should have better stopping the header.

For the 1st goal, it may be that the CBs should have blocked the shot, however, it was the two wingers who made and scored it and the full backs or DMs should have been challenging them, I think as they say, we lost our shape!
