Theo is experiencing his most productive season for Arsenal. He has had a good couple of years leading up to this season with 13 goals + 9 assists and 11 goals + 10 assists in 2010/11 and 2011/12 respectively. He has improved massively with his final product, beating his man and performing on a far more consistent basis. He is still young and constantly improving. So far this season he has 18 goals and 11 assists - if he did nothing for the rest of the season he would still have the best stats for a player who has played mostly on the right. My question is: How many goals and assists will he have by the end of the season? Will he hit the 30 goal mark? Opinion is always split on Walcott and it'll be interesting to get some predicitions and then see where he is at the end of the season! I'll start - i think he'll end the season with 26 goals and 18 assists. (But secretly think he might suprise us all and get 30, but i'll keep that quiet at the risk of being abused ).
He has 11+7 in the League. We're well over half way through the season, with Champions League goals unlikely & the CC over. If he can get 25 goals & 15 assists in total I think he'll have had an incredible season He's been outstanding, and it shows what an injury-free period can do for a player.
Well this season he has made 29 appearances so far and last season he made 46 appearances. So if he retained his current form and gets to the same amount of appearances as last season (which is just about possible with the remaining games if he features in them all - presuming we are knocked out by bayern and get through one more round of the fa cup), he would end up on about 27 goals and 16/17 assists. Maybe i was thinking we had slightly more games remaining! If he can hit 25 goals this season then he will have had an amazing season, finally achieving his potential.
Going for 25 goals. The CL games against Bayern are going to be really hard and I suspect our run in the CL will end after those two games. Is Wenger going to play him against Blackburn? If he does he could bag a few against that lot.
On his current form and assuming he stays injury free, I don't think it's out of the question to expect a 25 goal season from Theo in all competitions. I love watching his play at the moment and more importantly he looks like he is enjoying himself.
I'm going for around 21, injury free. Goals will be shared around more, as Giroud is more adjusted and Pod, Cazorla, Wilshere and the guy with the lovable forehead, chip in.
25 sounds about right. Which Is particularly impressive considering he's been playing outwide for most of the Season.
