Doesn't seem that long ago that we were dumped out the cup by Wigan. We played well to be fair, but no cigar.

That weekend we were all tending to say "never mind, at least now we've got Ole at the Helm and a dozen Prem games left to pull this season around".

What happened to them? Half have now gone, and we've amassed 4 points from the 18 available. OK, so those 6 did include Spurs, Everton and Liverpool, but we'll need a far better return from the last 6. We've gone from being in control of our own destiny to being reliant on others around us failing.

Over the past couple of months I've got used to hearing Ole say there's plenty of games to go, and even Dempsey saying before the Brom game that whatever the result up there "there'll still be 6 games to go after that" - then there'll be 5, then 4, then 3........

At what point does that sort of quasi Mr. Micawber attitude wear a bit thin? If we fail to beat Palace?

I don't agree. We are desperate for a win but a draw still leaves the door to survival just about open. It is a massive chance for 3 points though <ok>

I am nervous about this game Steve, especially with the confidence Palace will have after beating Chelsea

Me too, I don't think they'll be a push over at all. A draw means we'll need to beat at least 2 from Stoke, Southampton, Sunderland, Newcastle. Whilst making sure we don't lose to Sunderland and finding a draw in another.

That would give us 34+ (depending or draws) points with Chelsea to play at home.

Have to beat Palace lads. But since Pulis took over,Palace have won10 of their 11 games against bottom half teams I think, and they also drew with us.

<laugh>........I can see the sliderule has come out Stevo - can you do us a graph please where "x" is points and "y" is time........<laugh>

As for your last sentence - YES PLEASE!!!!

If we keep failing to win then there will be a day very soon where another draw will relegate us. Saturday is not that day imo.

I'd certainly take 34pts with Chelsea to play now if I could.

6 games we need at least 11 points. Dont see it happening but we can keep hoping at the moment.

Temple - I think 9 more will be enough. If we get to 35, we'll stay up as long as goal difference doesn't come into it - that could kill us.

Palace have become much more resolute under Pulis so it looks like a draw to me which will probably suit Place more than you boys.

5 Games left and 3 games away, and 1 home game is against Chelsea? Your down lads................................<ok>

Philip tiz a pity only 3 go down tbh....over half the teams in this division are pants and add nothing but numbers 2 a bollock of a league :emoticon-0150-hands

anyway it looks like I may be back in the ground for next season...spare seats and all that <ale>.........so no disappointment from me <ok>
