Thought I would start this thread about a player I believe will shine. I am hoping that he does not get any serous injuries. However, I really do believe this is The year Anderson will shine. He is now scoring goals which has taken him an age to do. Last season he scored 4 goals which was more than any of our central midfielders. His shooting has improved and he has scored a some nice goals in pre season, today and in some other games. It is more than likely we will not sign a top central midfielder and with this it is even more likely Anderson will have a bigger role. Can't wait for the season to start and I am looking forward to Anderson shining .
yeah i agree if he stays free from injury he'll shine.injurys have really halted his progress, but now he has stayed injury free for a good amount of time he's playing really well. he finished the season strongly, and has played well in pre season.i think this season will be a good one for him,if he plays regulary enough.
Not sure he is quite up to playing at the very top level myself. If Sneijder comes which looks enevitable Anderson wont get many opportunities
Bristol Rovers Fan here...good luck for 11/12 season. Hope you get Sneijder; some of these Dutch players are very good. (OOps, I was behind the goal vs B Munich when you -know- who- chicken-legs cracked one in.) I was there for the Schalke game too. I could have stayed watching your team play all night long. Just great ! Don't worry too much about the other lot from Mcr; they will never have your class or heritage.
King Shergar Sneidjer coming does not look in any shape or form inevitable and if he was to leave it would be more likely to City. Sneidjer will not be joining Utd especially now City have entered the race and there is only one winner when they flash their cash about.
^^Ever the optimist RE anything MUFC, you should support another club....oh wait, thats right, you already do!
City have denied they have bid for Wesley so your wrong. I think Anderson could have a good season but needs to remain consistent with his fitness and injuries.
My belief is that, Anderson deserves his chance to get a consistent run in the team. City denying reports means little, it does not bring us any closer to signing Sneidjer. In fact it is very clear we will not. Too many costs involved in signing him. Far too many, however, you can always live in hope I guess.
