I do not have much of a problem with them.
I think Charlie fed them figures for a winning formula and that has obviously not happened.

Not sure how they expected to make a quick profit on a club that has no assets, has been failing on the pitch and flogs its best players to offset against the running costs. I’m no businessman but that’s dead in the water isn’t it ?Ultimately the buck stops with them.
They are presiding over almost complete failure on the pitch, and have never once shown any interest in buying back the Valley & Sparrows Lane. That’s because they are here for a quick profit & a cash out …which is looking increasingly unlikely.
We have got nothing whatsoever to thank them for.

Yep and we was warned by 40000 black cats about him - his days must be numbered , even his “love child”Methven sold them a pup, that he had devised a unique football business model that allowed them to both slash operating costs and get a quick promotion.
has turned on him
Don't all owners want to make a profit? I don’t see it as a problem. The problem is mismanagement, especially in recruitment of players and managers. We've got the wrong people running the club. If the owners do put the club up for sale I imagine they'll want a return not only on the £11m they paid, but on what they've paid out to keep it afloat, not to mention the salaries of the SMT.
Sandgaard got his money back, but it won't happen again. The Cost would be edging up towards the real value of the club and assets. We're in the last chance saloon.
£11m was a terriffic price for a loss-making enterprise with no assets. It may not have covered all his expenses, but I bet he was happy with it. How much Do you think the club would go for now?Sandgaard didn’t get his money back, he got most of his purchase price back. He lost millions on the operating costs incl dud transfers.
Most people gamble for the thrill and not expecting to make a profit. Same here

100%This is the simple but fundamental mistake that so many owners and would-be owners make when investing in Football Clubs.
They don't pay attention to fans.
They don't employ anybody to scout the fan base, get a feeling for the situation at grass-roots level.
A bad mistake, as it is fans who pay season ticket money.
There are a few kinds of owners who are so wealthy that they can afford to ignore fans.
The owners of Chelsea, Newcastle, Manchester City, or Wrexham for instance.
But many owners only have limited funds available. Usually far more limited than they are prepared to admit.
Like the current CAFC owners.
If they really want what's best for the Club they are buying they should invest a little money investigating slick salesmen like Charlie Methven.
Doubtless he dismissed the concerns of Sunderland fans (if that issue was ever raised) and labelled them ignorant haters and morons.
Sound familiar?
Yes. Exactly how Global and his cronies repeatedly dismiss most Charlton fans on ITTV.
And that is the worst flaw of that forum, which has potential to be such a positive force for Charlton Athletic.
It exists only to put down Charlton supporters.
That's why Methven and SE7 were so lovingly embraced there, as much as the bribery and string-pulling by the spivs.
If CAFC does go up for sale, I hope against hope that any potential owner will listen to Charlton fans.
Not regard them as the enemy, like Duchatelet does and ITTV does.
Bring them along. Have faith in them.
