Did pretty well this year, far better than I usually do;
A roll-necked jumper I'll actually wear, soft merino wool so it doesn't itch. I'm currently looking pretty ****ing cool for a worn out old git (still rocking the Movember face furniture).
Slippers which I need because the last pair disintegrated, and;
Three books I'm looking forward to reading - as opposed to the usual 'buy him a book' strategy whereby I get books I've either already read, or never will.

Gift of the Year award goes to a mate who gave me (**** knows why, I've never given him anything) a box of toiletries, which shows clear signs of having been passed round every male member of his large extended family, for the last several years.

I did ok on the book front with Blood in the Snow (Service) and the Korean War (Hastings)

Stayed up for new year only because kids wanted to see it in... Then I went promptly to bed.

New trainers, some cash, books I’ll actually read, bit of gym stuff, some boxing gloves I don’t need but they’re quite cool retro ones so leave them out somewhere. Decent haul this year.

**** thread though.

what? Hallucinogens & E's go together perfectly, not sure I'd do one without the other these days tbh.

I haven’t tried them together

but I might just do if what you saying is correct

didn’t want one to affect the other
