Loftus Road, QPR's ground, about 25 years ago.

They were hired in and it seemed they were spoiling for a fight. One guy, the lead steward, was making come on then gestures throughout the game and bundled into the crowd at every opportunity with his fists flying.

    A right bunch of nasties.

On another occasion we played a Cup game at Brisbane Road and the police were the most viscious I have ever witnessed. There was a lot of trouble in the stands because a tranch of West Ham fans had come along spoiling for trouble. One troublemaker was dragged to the ground by a couple of coppers and then a sergeant walked over and trod on his head pushing his boot down so that it pulled on his hair.

Thank goodness coppers and stewards these days are much better trained and accountable.

Reading, kicked out afer 10 minutes for standing. They said they needed a word with me in the concourse, nothing to worry about and procedud to suround me with bouncers who escorted me out. No warning and a sneaky way of doing it, then calling back up in the form of doorman.

Must have beeb bullied at shcool

Crystal Palace a few years back. I remember we equalised and the whole of the away end erupted and got a bit out of hand and then the stewards and police came in and tried to calm things down and it ended up in a bit of a stand off. All that over the celebration of a goal.

Exeter 2009-2010 season we were sat in the main stand with their fans and 3 stewards was going around dragging people out of the seats and demanding they showed proof they came from Exeter.

Birmingham a few years back. Group of chavs constantly throwing coins from the Brum section to the right of us. One hits and cuts a female saints fan, Stewards (and Police) do nothing and get arsey with the Saints fans instead who were trying to point out the coin throwers.

This. If you even breath at the Mad Stad in the home end then you get a talking to. My tickets were checked twice at one game this season and I was threatened to be kicked out because my foot was one yard on the steps.

    Pathetic stewards.

Arsenal at Highbury when we lost 5-1 they must have kicked out about 100-150 by half time.

Yeah, was a rearranged game due to snowfall! I wish I could find a youtube clip or video of that goal, anyone know of one anywhere? Was a brilliant celebration by the fans, one of the best i've witnessed with saints.

My dad was at that game and got hit by a 50p. He sent said 50p back to Birmingham chairman the following week suggesting that they probably couldn't afford to be throwing that money away! Informed the FA too but they seemed pretty disinterested....
