Gutted. Feels like a defeat rather than a point (which I would have taken at the start of the game). Dirty Leeds lived up to their name, but how bad was that ref? Don't think he had control at any point in the game!! Robbed!!
The ref was dodgy....think he gave Leeds the rub of the green but it was a penalty and Leeds weren't dirty at all.
Sorry Moose, from where I was sitting the ref let an awful go from Leeds. There was lot of pulling, shoves in the back and nothing was done about it. Plus both teams should have had a yellow card (so I'm not completely biased). Didn't see their pen clearly but WO seems to think it was dodgy. I say again, very, very poor ref today.
Ok come to think about it Leeds could have had two yellows for taking players out who were going on a break....but Dicko could've had a yellow for his late challenge. We were playing physically too and I don't think there's much wrong with that as long.
If every ref were to get every shout for a penalty or straight red card correct, I could live with everything else. Today he gave a lot more of the knitty gritty decisions to Leeds than us, but he passed that most important of tests.
No, that he passed the most important tests. Just seen the highlights on TV and it was not a clear penalty. High boot? Yes, but the player was stooping. But even leaving the pen to one side he was inconsistent, changed his mind, penalised petty challenges but let harsher ones go. So no, I don't think he passed the most important tests. So I still disagree. But hey, it's a game of opinions.
I think he was shocking, we should have a free kick in the first half when Mapps was thrown to the floor by the neck. But then again Dicko should have had a yellow for sure. It was a fantastic challenge though, the guy certainly knew where Dicko was from then on!! But this sums it up, the 4th official gives 3 mins of injury time, but low and behold their goal is scored after 5mins (90:00+4:33 GOAL - Robert Snodgrass)
that Dan is where my major gripe lies , the pen whether it was or wasnt shouldnt have been an issue as the game should have finished!
They took quite a long time to take the penalty....so maybe it was that when it was given it was about 3 minutes.
Exactly!! Wanna-be Man Utd!!!! They did not take 1min 43 seconds which is the goal time according to the BBC. 90:00+4:33 GOAL - Robert Snodgrass.
From the WO:...but with the three minutes of injury time up, Eddie Ilderton awarded Leeds a dubious penalty as Nosworthy challenged Vayrynen.
Whilst were at it , on the old 606 the most annoying muppet imo was Vin royal , Here so far I think Logi is shading it!
