Put your favourite quotes here: Moyes after City away: "I said it was a difficult start didn't I? I questioned how the balls came out of the bag at the start and I am still not convinced."
Despite years of stabilty, and being United's first choice replacement for the best part of a decade, Moyes has had no time to prepare for games
Like us, Utd are the other top4 team in trouble at the moment. Our trouble is largely of our own making, Utds seems to be a lack of squad depth. They did well to keep Rooney, he really is good the little ****er !!!
‘It’s not necessarily the squad players we needed, we needed one or two who might have gone in [to the team]. That will happen. ‘But going back to that transfer window, we always said it was going to be a tough one and it was going to take a little bit more time.’ ‘I’ve taken the punches and I’m happy to do that. Not for a minute did I think this Manchester United job was going to be an easy job' Moyes added after 4n1ted's defeat at City
Has anyone asked him directly yet why he paid 4.5M more than he needed to for his no.1 transfer target? Whilst they are at it maybe they can ask him why Everton look a lot better team now he's gone.
Not sure I believe that. Just think Fellaini was not first choice and once Fabregas and the spanish one didn't work out he got his pant pulled down by Kenwright at the 11th. If he'd have really wanted Fellaini he'd have paid the buy out then tried to get Baines seperately.
Moyes refuses to deny Bale snub He said: "If I was [interested in Bale], I wouldn’t tell you. We don’t talk about it. We only talk about players there is a reason to talk about." http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...-that-exceeded-86m-tabled-by-Real-Madrid.html
Moyes complaining he does not have enough good players already. Well. That's either a reflection on him or fergie ‘To win the Champions League, you need five or six world-class players,’ said Moyes. ‘Look at Bayern Munich, they have it. Look at Barcelona, who had it in the past and Real Madrid, who have maybe got it now. That’s the level you have to be at to win it. We’ve not got that yet but what we have got is experience. ‘The job when I took over was always going to be that we’d have to make changes and improve as we go along.’ Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...-make-worst-start-24-years.html#ixzz2gFi9Zmk8 Follow us: @MailOnline on Twitter | DailyMail on Facebook
That sounds like he's blaming SAF for leaving him a crap team, the club for not buying in the summer, anyone but himself and the **** performances/teams/tactics and changes all down to him.
Looks like Moyes overestimated the ability of some of his players, or doesn't have the skills to make good judgements. Either way, it is clear he needed to bring in more class and talent than he did. To say he is lacking 6 "world Class " players is a smack in the chops for Fergie on the one hand, but a compliment that at least he could get the squad over the line.
"I don't think there is one best team. I think there are lots of best teams at Manchester United," after rotating his team before the 2-1 home defeat at fortress old Trafford.
