    when did this start meaning homosexual? and why?

    what other words have the homosexuals made their own and you believe are wrong?

    I know, saying 'having a gay old time' used to mean that you were just having a good time but not anymore. If you were to say that now you would be in for mucho abuse.

    Queer is another obvious one, as is ***got. But I don't think gay people pick these words for themselves, as seems to be the implication.
