I was reading this article with interest: http://norwichcity.myfootballwriter...s-the-long-suffering-yellow-army-on-the-road/ I think few people would deny that being a Norwich fan has been tough of late. It's also well known that fans tend to stop coming to football matches when the team performs poorly (have a look at the garbage bin down south). We also have heard people frequently say that Hughton's away set-up means it's rarely worth watching... AND YET - for many of our away matches we appear to have increased numbers on last season!! Firstly - a big bravo to all fans for making such a massive effort But I find this fairly inexplicable. My only conclusion is that, and I would argue there is plenty of evidence here, Norwich fans have a tendency to enjoy being miserable, relish in complaining and generally are at their most down beat when things are going well...
Bit sad no-one's picked up on this thread, Rob. I guess it's because all we can do is agree - they are fantastic.
Yes they are when I watch the games I can in Aus I see a wall of yellow chanting their heads off despite the lack of points on the road
I didn't take it personally Yes, a bit of positivity to remind ourselves how good as fans we actually are. Clearly not well timed as we are all feeling a bit down
