There always is a certain risk
When it comes to the day,
    And managers for whatever
    Reason are made to pay

    Not many seem that justified
    When looking from afar,
And of those dismissed, I dare say
    Some will think it bizarre

    Especially to see their ex-team
    Not doing better yet,
    And in some cases actually
    Having days to forget

    Only Palace and Sunderland
    Have found some improved form,
And both Pulis and Poyet G
    Are nestling in the warm

But then both of those were enforced
    As Holloway resigned,
And P. Di Canio was an arse
    His leaving no-one pined

And for the Monk it´s early days
    In his caretaker job,
But a ´derby´ win will have helped
    To quell the Swansea mob

For Fulham, Cardiff, and West Brom
No signs yet, of a lift,
In fact more fumbling in neutral
    Than a forward gear shift

And for ourselves and others too
    Who´re sticking to their guns,
We´ll have to see if wise or foolish
    When the May-time comes. OTBC

Not in any doubt myself, but then you already knew that :)

Another gem RBF, you and I both have to take the flack at times, but I won't change my opinion as I am sure neither will you until the board decides a change is due! That is part of their remit after all!

I have absolutely no idea what it means, RBF, but there's a flower poster who is normally first to react to your every single verse. I thought I'd get in and gazump him <ok> <laugh>

Hi RBF bor, today we sort the men from the boys. Against Cardiff we were unprofessional, against Man City a very proud performance that could have been a deserved well merited victory.

Our team play like that for the rest of the season should see us clear. Now in their hands.

I see the flower arranging thread has hit the buffers.
Apologies if it was me that derailed it. :emoticon-0116-evilg

Hi Crab bor, its a bouquet of four red roses. The poet would much prefer a wee dram of Dave's favourite tipple LOL

Hardly think it´s derailed, Cromer, in fact the responses are seriously multitudinous compared to the norm :)

Why would the board deciding it is time for CH to go, change your mind? If at 11.00am you are confident he's the man, then at 11.30am DM sacks him, what has changed? On the surface, it seems an odd statement to make

What it means is so obvious I'm surprised you need to ask!

RBF and I and a few others on here SUPPORT our team, lncluding whoever the board decides is the right man to take us forward! Fortunately now we have DM, we are hardly likely to end up with a Rodent or PG!

When Hughton was setting up for a 0 -0 and getting drubbed 5 -0 i wanted him out but over the last month or so we are looking very solid and i can see the logic in his vision.
Those clean sheets will probably be a deciding factor in our survival push this season and it`s very satisfying watching us as a solid unit, all we need now is the odd goal.

In the context of the poem "managerial roundabout", that is not how I interpreted it <ok>

I would settle for a solid clean sheet tonight and hopefully nick one the other end to boot. Icing on the cake! As you all know I am with RBF and Dave (Rodney) and have been throughout

Thai - the thinking behind the poem was simply that some of the managerial changes ( the enforced ones) appear to be working, while at the moment, the jury is definitely still out on the others, and also those who´ve opted to not press the panic button seem to be holding their own. I´m delighted for that and also delighted that we´re in that last group.
