So that's Scottish football lost £15million at a stroke from a single revenue stream. How much more will be lost through falling attendances, less lucrative sponsorship deals and reduced money from Europe?

Rangers failure to pay Dunfermline £85,000 was enough to disrupt their payroll, but if you feel all of the above won't negatively impact the game in Scotland, good luck to you.

No quite a few on here flat out denied that the TV deal would be affected in any way.

I'm not saying you did just saying that plenty said it had no bearing on the TV deal.

    Nice spin!

£15M over 5 years and ONLY if the £80m over 5 years on offer was signed .. it wasn't and this is the deal that replaces that offer!

As I understand it, the deal that was due to expire was £13m a season...

In essence - the deal just signed is the one that's been in place all along.

    No major loss made ...

GC - think you will find that ST sales for all clubs have increased this season, mainly because fans now realise that they will not have to listen to songs about being up to their knees in the blood of Catholics and their ambition to kill a Catholic before they die.

Decent fans coming back to the game, as the filth sit in Div 3....................without a name

    He's mistaken

No one said that the tv deal wouldn't be effected....they said the new tv deal wouldn't have much of an effect (on surviving for example)
